VADS Berhad (VADS) was recently appointed as the Contact Centre Outsourcing Partner for POSLaju On Demand Pick Up Service (ODP).
In an agreement signed between Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) & Pos Malaysia Berhad, TM is awarded a 3 year to provide contact centre service for PosLaju ODP. TM is providing the communications infrastructure for the contact centre while VADS manages the contact centre operations that include equipping the centre with the right contact centre technology together with the recruitment of the people and training of the customer service representatives.
The agreement was signed by Dato’ Syed Faisal Albar, Group Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of Pos Malaysia, while TM was represented by its Executive Vice President, Enterprise, TM who is also the Chief Executive Officer of VADS Berhad, Ghazali Omar. Also present to witness the signing ceremony were the management representatives from both companies as well as the media.
The three year contract includes managing PosLaju ODP customer orders and customer pickup request via telephone and email.
The PosLaju ODP contact centre has a total of 20 workstations and is located at Plaza VADS, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail.
VADS has over 5,000 contact centre representatives in 11 delivery centres in Malaysia and two in Indonesia making it the largest business process outsourcing services provider in Malaysia. VADS also has the capability and capacity to ramp up the contact centre from the current set up when the need arises as its call centre solutions are easily scalable according to customers’ requirement.
