Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa
Chairman
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani, a Malaysian, was appointed Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of VADS on 1 December 2004. He was the Deputy Chairman of VADS since 29 April 2008 before assuming his current position as Chairman on 12 August 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Engineering from Plymouth Polytechnic, United Kingdom, and has attended the Kellog School of Management’s programme in Corporate Finance, Strategies for Creating Shareholder Value.
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani is the Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), VADS’ holding company, a position he assumed on 25 April 2008.
He has vast experience in the telecommunications industry, having held senior management positions in several multinationals, such as Global One and Lucent Technologies (Malaysia). Previous key positions in TM before assuming his current role include Senior Vice President, Group Strategy and Technology and Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Business, TM.
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani sits on the Boards of several TM Group subsidiaries, including as Chairman of TM Net Sdn Bhd and Deputy Chairman of GITN Sdn Bhd.
Massimo Migliuolo
Executive Director / Chief Executive Officer
Massimo Migliuolo, an Italian, was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Director of VADS Berhad, a subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) on 1 February 2015.
Massimo has been with TM for over two (2) years and recently, he also assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of TM’s Smart City services arm, VADS Lyfe Sdn. Bhd. to focus on Internet of Things (IoT) and its Smart Cities projects and appointed Chief Executive Officer of GTC Global Sdn Bhd effective from 1 September 2015.
He holds a degree in Business Economics from Boccioni University in Milan.
Massimo brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and ICT industry. Over the years, he has cultivated a deep interest on mobility and subsequently on IoT and relevant services models. His primary passion and objective is to understand technology evolution and how to create and deliver valuable ICT services to end users.
Before joining TM and Intelsec, he spent 12 years at Cisco systems where he was Vice President of the Go to Market (GTM) Strategy and Segments group for the Emerging Markets Theater. The primary goal was to accelerate revenue growth through transformational and sustainable business models focusing the needs of the vertical market and industries including Smart Cities. He also led Cisco’s global mobile market segment and implemented the company’s vision for mobile service providers.
Prior to that, he led the development of the GSM mobile market for AT&T and Lucent Technologies.
Throughout his career, he had successfully brought new business opportunities to life for CISCO, Lucent Technologies and AT&T. He also served in a number of Company Boards as Director and Non-Executive Director.
Datuk Seri Fateh Iskandar Tan Sri Dato’ Mohamed Mansor
Independent Non-Executive Director
Datuk Seri Fateh Iskandar, aged 46, a Malaysian, was appointed Independent Non-Executive Director of TM on 7 October 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Law (Hons) and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Queensland, Australia.
Datuk Seri Fateh Iskandar is currently the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Glomac Berhad (Glomac). He first joined Glomac Group of Companies in 1992 and was appointed its Group Executive Director in 1997. He was thereafter promoted as Group Managing Director in 2004 and subsequently appointed as CEO of Glomac on 24 March 2009. Prior to joining Glomac, he practised law in Australia before returning to Malaysia and joining Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad.
Datuk Seri Fateh Iskandar is currently Deputy President of The Real Estate & Housing Developer’s Association (REHDA) Malaysia and Immediate Past Chairman of REHDA Selangor Branch. He is a Founding Director of Malaysia Property Incorporated, a body that promotes property investments among foreigners in Malaysia, Deputy Chairman of the Malaysian Australian Business Council, Chairman of Gagasan Badan Ekonomi Melayu (GABEM), Selangor Branch, Co-Chairmen of the Special Taskforce to Facilitate Business Group (PEMUDAH) on Legal and Services.
He was awarded the Malaysian Business Award in Property 2012 by the Malay Chamber of Commerce and Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award at the 2013 Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards. Datuk Seri Fateh Iskandar also sits on the Boards of Axis Reit Managers Berhad, Media Prima Berhad and The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad.
Datuk Bazlan Osman
Director
Datuk Bazlan, a Malaysian, was appointed Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of VADS on 30 March 2012. Previously, he was an Alternate Director to Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa (13 August 2009 to 30 March 2012), a substantive Director of VADS (30 October 2008 to 12 August 2009), an Alternate Director to Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa (11 April 2008 to 30 October 2008) and an Alternate Director to Dato’ Sri Abdul Wahid Omar (5 May 2005 to 11 April 2008).
Dato’ Bazlan is an Executive Director of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), VADS’ holding company, a position he assumed on 25 April 2008. Currently, the Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO) of TM, Datuk Bazlan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
He began his career as an auditor with a public accounting firm in 1986 and subsequently served the Sime Darby Group, holding various positions in its corporate office in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Melaka. In 1993, he had a brief stint in American Express Malaysia Berhad before joining Kumpulan FIMA Berhad in 1994, where he was subsequently appointed Senior Vice President, Finance / Company Secretary. He joined Celcom Axiata Berhad (formerly known as Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad) in 2001 as the Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance & Treasury and subsequently appointed as the CFO prior to his appointment as TM Group CFO on 1 May 2005. Effective 1 November 2009, he also oversees the operations of TM Global, TM Wholesale and Support Business.
Datuk Bazlan currently serves as a Board member of several subsidiaries within TM Group including as Chairman of Fiberail Sdn Bhd and TM Info-Media Sdn Bhd.
Giorgio Migliarina
Director
Giorgio Migliarina is the Chief Technology and Innovation Officer in Telekom Malaysia. He is responsible for Network, IT, R&D and overall technical operations. He was previously a Partner at McKinsey & Company based in London and Beijing. There he served some of the world’s leading operators and high tech companies. Prior to joining McKinsey, Giorgio helped launch Infostrada SpA, Italy’s second fixed line operator, where he held positions at network planning and corporate development.
Before Infostrada, he worked in Olivetti SpA as a business development manager for its telecom ventures. He has been named CTO of the year 2012 in Asia by Asia Communication Award. Giorgio holds a Masters (Sc) in Electronic Engineering and an MBA. Giorgio was also appointed as a Board of Director of VADS on 7 November 2012.
Ahmad Azhar Yahya
Director
Ahmad Azhar, a Malaysian, was appointed Chief Customer Advocacy of Telekom Malaysia, Managed Accounts on 1 February 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, USA.
Ahmad Azhar began his career in 1987 as an Engineer in Agilent Technologies (formerly known as Hewlett Packard). He then joined management consultants, Accenture in 1990 servicing a portfolio of clients in Malaysia, Asia and the Middle East in various industries from communications, to high technology, oil and gas and the public sector.
His experience includes strategic planning and change management, business and operations support systems, enterprise resource management, revenue and customer relationship management. He became a Partner at Accenture in 2000 before joining TM as Group Chief Information Officer on 2 August 2004. In 2008, Ahmad Azhar was appointed TM’s Programme Director of High-Speed Broadband (HSBB) Programme and contributed to the successful launch of UniFi in March 2010. He was then appointed as the Chief Strategy Officer of TM on 15 July 2010. In January of 2012, Ahmad Azhar served as the CEO of VADS Bhd before assuming his current position as Chief Customer Advocacy, Telekom Malaysia.
Dato’ Kairul Annuar Mohamed Zamzam
Director
Dato’ Kairul Annuar, 50, holds a Bachelor in Engineering Science from the University of Western Ontario, Canada and an MBA from the Multimedia University, Cyberjaya and attended the Advanced Management Training programme at INSEAD in 2003.
He has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, beginning with the then Jabatan Telekom Malaysia in 1985 as a Human Resource Planning Executive. He has since held various positions in local access, switching and transmission networks. He was appointed GM of the Terengganu Operations Area in 1998 and then the Personal Assistant to the Group Chief Executive in 2002.
He was appointed GM of Corporate Affairs and later VP, Consumer & Business Sales Division in TM Retail in 2004. Prior to assuming his current position as EVP, Government in 2009, he was the CEO of Telekom Sales & Services Sdn Bhd.
Wan Ahmad Kamal Wan Halim
Director
Wan Ahmad Kamal Wan Halim, 51, holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Statistics from Monash University, Melbourne. He joined TM on 1 June 2014 as Executive Vice President, Enterprise.
He has over 25 years of professional experience specializing in the Senior and Regional Sales Management, Business Management and Account Management roles across the Service Provider and Enterprise sectors in ASEAN and Malaysia.
His career began in 1986 as an assistant director of Planning & Research Division with the
Ministry of Education Malaysia until 1990 and later moved to Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad in Accounts and Sales Management.
In 1994, he joined Sapura Telecommunications Berhad, where he served in Sales, Channel, Marketing & Product Management. In 2000, he joined Juniper Networks as Country Manager, Malaysia and was made the Sales Director for Malaysia, Indonesia & Vietnam in 2002.
He was later appointed Managing Director Malaysia in 2007 and promoted as Managing Director ASEAN in 2012.
