Good health is the foundation of a productive and balanced life. Reflecting this
commitment, VADS BP organised the LIFE@VADS Health Screening Programme
on 13 May 2026 in collaboration with panel clinics under the SEHATi initiative by
PERKESO, encouraging employees to take proactive steps in understanding and
managing their health. The programme was conducted simultaneously at Klang
Valley with Primer Cherang Clinic meanwhile at Melaka Region with Klinik
Keluarga One Medic. The initiative focused on employees aged 40 to 59 years old
who are active PERKESO contributors under the Invalidity Scheme.
Participants underwent several important health screenings including Full Blood
Count (FBC) for overall health assessment, HbA1c screening to monitor blood
sugar levels, Fasting Lipid Profile to evaluate cholesterol and heart health, as well
as Urine FEME screening to help detect infections and kidney related conditions.
More than just a screening session, the programme served as a meaningful
reminder on the importance of early detection, preventive healthcare, and building
healthier lifestyle habits. Through initiatives like this, VADS BP continues to
promote a healthier workforce while fostering greater awareness on employee
wellbeing and long term-health care.
