Tunku Dato’ Mahmood Fawzy Tunku Muhiyiddin
Tunku Mahmood, 59, a Malaysian, received his BA (Hons) Business Studies from the Polytechnic of Central London, Masters in Business Administration from the University of Warwick, the Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Malaysian Institute of Management, and Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance.
Tunku Mahmood is a professional company director and has been a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of TM since 25 April 2008. He was re-designated as Independent Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director of TM on 30 April 2017. He is currently the Chairman of the Board Nomination and Remuneration Committee (NRC), as well as a member of the Board Investment Committee (BIC). He is also the Chairman of VADS Berhad and Director of webe digital Sdn Bhd.
Tunku Mahmood is currently the Chairman of Deutsche Bank (Malaysia) Berhad and Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad. He is also a board member of Hong Leong Assurance Berhad and Hong Leong Asset Management Berhad. He was previously a board member of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad, Hong Leong Islamic Bank Berhad, Pos Malaysia Berhad, SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad/Kencana Petroleum Berhad, and Ethos Capital One Sdn Berhad, Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia, Energy Africa Limited and Engen Limited in South Africa.
Tunku Mahmood draws on a wealth of governance, management, and cross border experience in telecommunications, investment management and private equity activity, oil and gas, marine and aviation logistics, corporate advisory, banking and financial services, across several international locations including the United Kingdom, New Zealand, South Africa and Malaysia.
Datuk Bazlan Osman
Datuk Bazlan was appointed the Director of VADS on 30 March 2012. He was then appointed ED/Deputy Group CEO of TM effective 1 April 2017 and recently appointed Acting Group CEO of TM effective 6 June 2018.
Datuk Bazlan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), United Kingdom and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
Datuk Bazlan began his career as an auditor with a public accounting firm in 1986 and subsequently served the Sime Darby Group, holding various positions in its corporate office in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Melaka.

In 1993, he had a brief stint in American Express Malaysia Berhad before joining Kumpulan FIMA Berhad in 1994, where he was subsequently appointed Senior Vice President, Finance / Company Secretary. He joined Celcom Axiata Berhad (formerly known as Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad) in 2001 as the Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance & Treasury and subsequently appointed as the CFO prior to his appointment as TM Group CFO on 1 May 2005. Effective 1 November 2009, he also oversees the operations of TM Global, TM Wholesale and Support Business.
He currently sits on the board of several subsidiaries of TM Group including VADS Berhad, Webe Digital Sdn Bhd including as chairman of Fiberail Sdn Bhd and GITN Sdn Bhd. He is also a director of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDEC) and a member of UniKL Industrial Advisory Board.
In 2016, Datuk Bazlan was awarded Best CFO (Malaysia) at the 10th Annual Alpha Southeast Asia Institutional Investor-Corporate Awards as well as CFO of the Year (Excellence in Financial Planning & Analysis) at the 5th Annual CFO Innovation Awards, on top of the many other accolades given to TM in the fields under his purview.
Azizi A Hadi
Azizi Hadi was appointed Director of VADS on 15 May 2017. He is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of TM ONE. Azizi is charged to drive through the transformation stage further, and improve our market share as a fully integrated Connectivity / ICT / BPO solutions Provider.
Azizi A Hadi, has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and have been exposed to engineering, operations, sales, product development and management throughout. He started in TM Group in 2006 as the General Manager, Technology and innovation, TM Retail and was then promoted to Vice President of Retail Product in February 2009. As the Vice President, he was responsible for the development of commercialization of TM’s products and services, and after 2 years, he was became the Executive Vice President, SME, before assuming his role as the Chief Operating Officer of Webe in 2014. In August 2016, he was then promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Webe.
Prior to helming various positions in TM, his career began with the Royal Malaysian Army as the Engineering Officer in the Royal Signals Regiment. He was also the Country Business Development Manager of Global One Communications where he was entrusted with the country’s MNC sales back in 1999. He was also the Head of Broadband Business Unit in Network Engineering and Operations for Maxis Communications Berhad, before becoming the General Manager, Technology and Innovation in TM.
Azizi holds a Masters of Business Administration from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University, USA.
Director / Chief Executive Officer
Nizam was appointed as Director and Chief Executive Officer of VADS on 15 May 2017. He joined Telekom Malaysia in 2007 where he was appointed as General Manager for IT Architecture to look into migration of all legacy systems. He was later appointed as VP GIT in 2008 to lead Telekom Malaysia IT transformation to support High Speed Broadband (HSBB) rollout programme. He is currently the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of TM ONE.
Prior to joining TM Group, he has had several roles in systems support and solution management with global companies including Nixdorf Computer, Ericson AB, IBM Inc and Sun Microsystems Inc.
He was leading the Digital initiative to oversee the optimisation of business processes within network strategy, development and operations and the systems needed to support TM’s Digital Transformation before being appointed to CEO of Vads and Vads Lyfe.
Nizam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio.
Wan Ahmad Kamal Wan Halim
Wan Ahmad Kamal Wan Halim, holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Statistics from Monash University, Melbourne. He joined TM on 1 June 2014 as Executive Vice President, Enterprise. He is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of TM ONE.
He has over 25 years of professional experience specializing in the Senior and Regional Sales Management, Business Management and Account Management roles across the Service Provider and Enterprise sectors in ASEAN and Malaysia.
His career began in 1986 as an assistant director of Planning & Research Division with the
Ministry of Education Malaysia until 1990 and later moved to Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad in Accounts and Sales Management.
In 1994, he joined Sapura Telecommunications Berhad, where he served in Sales, Channel, Marketing & Product Management. In 2000, he joined Juniper Networks as Country Manager, Malaysia and was made the Sales Director for Malaysia, Indonesia & Vietnam in 2002.
He was later appointed Managing Director Malaysia in 2007 and promoted as Managing Director ASEAN in 2012.
Ahmad Azhar Yahya
Ahmad Azhar, was appointed Chief Digital Officer on 4 October 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University, USA.
Ahmad Azhar began his career in 1987 as an Engineer in Agilent Technologies (formerly known as Hewlett Packard). He then joined management consultants, Accenture in 1990 servicing a portfolio of clients in Malaysia, Asia and the Middle East in various industries from communications, to high technology, oil and gas and the public sector.
His experience includes strategic planning and change management, business and operations support systems, enterprise resource management, revenue and customer relationship management. He became a Partner at Accenture in 2000 before joining TM as Group Chief Information Officer on 2 August 2004. He was later appointed TM’s Programme Director for the HSBB Project in 2008, and contributed to the successful launch of unifi in March 2010. He assumed various positions in TM Group; Chief Strategy Officer from 15 July 2010 until December 2011, CEO of VADS from 1 January 2012 until 31 January 2015 and Chief Customer Advocate (CCA) on 1 February 2015.
He sits on the board of several subsidiaries including VADS and Telekom Applied Business Sdn Bhd (TAB). He also assumed the role of CEO of TAB since 5 September 2017 to oversee the company’s operations focusing on providing secure business solutions and as trusted information security services provider. He was appointed a member of the Advisory Board of the National Library, an organisation under the purview of the Tourism Ministry on 26 July 2017.
